Privacy Policy
For the games published by ai-krieger.de on the Google Play Store
Last updated: 6 August 2026
1.Controller
The controller responsible for data processing within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
E-mail: datenschutz@ai-krieger.de
Web: https://ai-krieger.de
If you have any questions about data protection or wish to exercise your rights, you can contact me at any time using the e-mail address above.
2.Scope
This privacy policy applies to all mobile games ("apps") published under the ai-krieger.de developer account on the Google Play Store, as well as to this website.
The apps are provided without requiring you to register an account with me. No names, addresses, phone numbers or e-mail addresses are collected from players — unless you voluntarily send me a support e-mail.
3.What data is processed
3.1 Data stored locally on your device
Saved games, progress, settings and statistics are stored primarily on your own device. This data only leaves your device if you use a cloud save feature (see 3.4). Uninstalling the app deletes the local data.
3.2 Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase
To improve the apps and detect crashes, services provided by Google (Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase and, where applicable, Crashlytics) are used. Pseudonymised usage and diagnostic data is processed for this purpose, in particular:
- device and software information (device model, OS version, language setting, app version)
- a randomly generated, pseudonymous app instance ID
- usage events (e.g. app start, level reached, session duration)
- crash reports including technical error logs (stack traces)
- truncated IP address for approximate country-level location
This data is not used to identify you as a person. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. For more information see the Firebase privacy documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.
3.3 Google AdMob (advertising)
Some apps display advertising via Google AdMob in order to finance their free distribution. For this purpose, AdMob processes in particular:
- your device's advertising ID (Android Advertising ID) — a resettable, pseudonymous identifier
- device and network information (device type, operating system, mobile carrier)
- IP address for approximate location (country/region)
- interactions with ads (impressions, clicks)
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Details are available under AdMob & privacy and in the overview of how Google uses data from partner sites.
Personalised advertising: Before ads are served for the first time, users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their consent via a consent dialog (Google UMP / CMP). Without consent, only non-personalised advertising is served. You can change your choice at any time via the "Privacy settings" or "Ad settings" menu entry inside the respective app.
Objection: Independently of this, you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your Android system settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads and disable personalised advertising device-wide there.
3.4 Google Play Games Services
Where an app offers leaderboards, achievements or cloud saves, these are provided through Google Play Games Services. If you sign in with your Google Play Games account, your player display name, your player ID and your game progress are transmitted to and stored by Google. Signing in is voluntary; the apps are fully playable without it. I myself receive no access to your Google account.
3.5 In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)
Purchases inside the apps are handled exclusively through Google Play. Payment data (payment method, billing address, transaction data) is processed directly by Google — it is neither transmitted to me nor stored by me. I only receive anonymised sales statistics via the Google Play Console. The Google Payments privacy notice applies in addition.
3.6 Google Play Store
When you download and update an app, Google as the store operator processes data on its own responsibility (including your Google account, download time and device information). I have no influence over this; Google is the controller in that respect.
4.Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the game and its features — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the usage agreement), including Play Games Services and in-app purchases where you use them.
- Analytics, error diagnosis and improving the apps — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) where consent is requested on first launch, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, user-friendly apps).
- Serving personalised advertising via AdMob — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent given through the consent dialog on first launch). Without consent, non-personalised advertising is served on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in financing the free apps).
- Responding to support requests and the contact form — Art. 6(1)(f) or (b) GDPR.
You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future, for example via the privacy settings inside the app or by e-mail to me.
5.Disclosure and international transfers
Your data is disclosed to third parties exclusively through the Google services named above, and only to the extent necessary for the respective purpose. Data is never sold.
This may involve a transfer to the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR are used.
6.Retention periods
Local game data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics data in Firebase is deleted automatically in line with the retention periods configured there (by default a maximum of 14 months). Crash reports are removed after a maximum of 90 days. Support e-mails are deleted once the request has been fully dealt with, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
7.Children
The apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. No personal data of children is knowingly collected. If you are a parent or guardian and have reason to believe that a child's data has been transmitted to me, please get in touch — the data will then be deleted without delay.
8.Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right at any time to:
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw consent you have given (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
An informal e-mail to datenschutz@ai-krieger.de is sufficient to exercise these rights. As the apps do not maintain user accounts, I may need additional details from you in order to locate any data.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), usually the authority of your habitual residence.
9.Contact form
A contact form is available on this website at datenschutz.ai-krieger.de/en/contact.html. The data you enter there (name, e-mail address, subject, message) together with your IP address and the time of submission is sent by e-mail to the controller's mailbox (datenschutz@ai-krieger.de) and stored there. Delivery runs over the controller's own mail server at ai-krieger.de; the data does not leave the controller's infrastructure. It is not stored in a database.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract. The IP address is logged to prevent spam and abuse. Your message is deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
10.Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy will be updated whenever the apps or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available at https://datenschutz.ai-krieger.de/en/. The version published at the time of your use is the one that applies.
